Singer/songwriter and Poozies member Sally Barker has cherished a long held ambition to present Joni Mitchell's songs as close to their original form as is possible. 'Big Yellow Taxi' was one of the first songs Sally sang live and she has lost count of the times her voice has been compared to Joni's. When Sally was asked to perform 'Coyote' as Joni in a tribute version of Martin Scorsese's film The Last Waltz, research into the song's tuning refuelled that ambition.
To present the Joni Mitchell Project Sally is joined by Glen Hughes on piano and dulcimer.
