Update on a New Home for The Gate
Progress towards the new venue for Goole, on the site of the New Market Hall in the town centre, is continuing slowly!
We have been working to complete a detailed environmental impact study and have recently submitted our Stage 1 application for funding from Yorkshire Forward. The project has grown to include some urban renewal features, which are being led by East Rding of Yorkshire Council, as part of the Goole Renaissance programme. Success in the Stage 1 funding bid will lead to submission of a final, detailed bid to Yorkshire Forward which could see us on site by early summer 2008.
